The Medicine and Biotechnology PMP was established in 2023 following the merger of the AIDS and Infectious Diseases PMP with the Brain and Behavior PMP and has since then worked with a combined approach to study and predict epidemics that could prove catastrophic for the entire planet and for all humanity. The Medicine and Biotechnology PMP
The Medicine and Biotechnology PMP, established in 2023 following the merger of the AIDS and Infectious Diseases PMP with the Brain and Behavior PMP, will monitor all diseases that could prove catastrophic for the entire planet and for all humanity. In particular the PMP will focus on infectious diseases caused by zoonotic pathogens, with the potential to cause epidemics, and non-communicable diseases with increasing prevalence due to environmental contamination related to anthropogenic mutagens and/or carcinogens.
About us
A PMP focused on biomedicine issues was established in the 1980s by Professor Antonino Zichichi and the World Federation of Scientists. A major global emergency is posed by communicable and non-communicable diseases linked to the environment and exogenous agents.
The August Plenary Session presentations of the Medicine and Biotechnology PMP have been focused on the COVID update by Franco Maria Buonaguro and Massimo Ciccozzi

Felice Iasevoli and Emanuele Buratti reported on brain diseases associated to precipitating molecules
Infectious Diseases
Sam Mbulaiteye and Hyshwar Gilada reported on pathogen related Acute infections and Cronique infections progressin to Cancer
Risk of new Technologies
Al reported on the risk associated to innovative therapeutic strategies not-ewll characterized before the applications in humans
The VEXA Syndrom
Young Neal reported on the newly discovered ASL syndrome associated to somatic mutation-based non cancer diseases.
